Marriott Waiohai Beach Club is set beside a gold-sand beach near Poipu Beach Park, on the south side of Kauai. Pale color schemes and red-tile roofs earmark the Mediterranean-style resort. Opened in January 2003, the property currently features four buildings and just over 100 rooms, but will offer eight buildings and 238 rooms upon completion in 2004. Continuing construction and affiliated noise is expected to continue through July 2004, but services should continue uninterrupted. Amenities include a freeform outdoor pool, and poolside bar. There is also a marketplace complex which houses a deli, coffee shop, and convenience store. Wireless Internet access is also available in the market area (network cards not available).
